Edward Hamilton, Managing Director
Mr. Hamilton has over 25 years of finance related experience from investment banking, trading, structuring, securitization, risk
management and business development.
Mr. Hamilton spent a significant part of his career as a Managing Director at Kidder Peabody which later became Paine Webber
Company. He was responsible for managing global fixed income trading and distribution platforms while living in both New York
and London. Mr. Hamilton developed and managed over 25 professionals globally and was responsible for $20 billion of balance
sheet exposure across a range of activities including trading, market and counterparty risk management as well as distribution
initiatives. He was also instrumental in developing all distribution channels on a global basis which enabled coordinated cross
selling of fixed income products which led to the overall success of the global platform and franchise.
Prior to AOV Capital, Mr. Hamilton was a founding member and principal of Eastbridge Group, a real estate investment platform.
Eastbridge Group is a real estate asset management and advisory platform whose focus is to identify, evaluate and execute
compelling opportunities for strategic capital partners in both the private and public real estate markets.
Prior to Eastbridge, Mr. Hamilton was a founding partner of SAM Group, a New York based structured asset management
platform in partnership with EFG International, which is a Swiss based and listed global wealth management platform with over
$100 Billion in managed assets. The SAM Group platform focused on raising assets under management through structured
collateralized loan obligations through investment in non-investment grade corporate debt.
Prior to SAM, Mr. Hamilton was a Senior Managing Director at Broadstreet Group, a New York based boutique investment bank
specializing in structured finance solutions across various asset classes. He was instrumental in negotiating and interpreting the
needs of a wide array of clients with respect to structuring requirements, capital and fee structures, resulting in the successful
underwriting of over $600 million in capital commitments, encompassing senior and mezzanine debt as well as term equity.
Mr. Hamilton graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor in Science in Business Administration.
