Evan Schwartzfarb, Managing Director
Mr. Schwartzfarb has 16 years of financial experience split between private equity and investment banking and has originated
and executed numerous transactions.
Most recently, Mr. Schwartzfarb worked with a number of wealthy investors, where he sourced and pursued private
investments. Mr. Schwartzfarb utilized a network of relationships with executives and intermediaries to secure investment
opportunities. He developed investment theses, evaluated opportunities, led diligence, and negotiated investments.
Previously, Mr. Schwartzfarb spent five years with private equity firm American Securities where he was a member of the
investment team. He joined the firm when it was investing its fourth fund, a $1.0 billion buyout fund, and he was with the firm
when it was investing both fund V ($2.3 billion) and fund VI ($3.6 billion). During his tenure, Mr. Schwartzfarb originated new
investments and assisted portfolio companies with strategic initiatives and add-on acquisitions, and he was responsible for the
proprietary origination of the firm’s investment in Fairmount Minerals.
Mr. Schwartzfarb began his career as an investment banker with eight years of experience. He performed financial analyses to
study pro forma results for debt & equity issues and M&A transactions, including creating detailed financial models to analyze
valuation, earnings dilution/accretion, operating statistics, cash flow, financing alternatives and capital structure.
Mr. Schwartzfarb started as an investment banking Analyst with Bear Stearns in the technology M&A group, and he was an
Associate with Lehman Brothers in the Consumer/Retail M&A investment banking group. Mr. Schwartzfarb started and operated
Palm Capital Investors, where he closed a number of small transactions as an advisor.
Mr. Schwartzfarb has an MBA from Columbia, and he graduated Harvard College with a degree in an Economics with honors.
